Le Coopérateur, the flagship publication from Sollio Groupe Coopératif, has undertaken a complete overhaul of its digital ecosystem. A trusted presence in the lives of agricultural producers since 1972, the brand aimed to solidify its position in the Québec and Francophone Canadian agricultural media landscape by becoming a modern, influential platform aligned with its cooperative mission.

Following its digital transformation, Le Coopérateur sought to:

  • Strengthen its relationship with members and increase visibility for their voices
  • Amplify editorial impact and the media brand's influence
  • Streamline publishing operations and platform architecture
  • Establish a renewed, sustainable monetization model
  • Lay the groundwork for the future with qualitative data collection and personalized user journeys

Le Coopérateur plays a unique role in our cooperative agricultural ecosystem: it is a voice serving farmers members. Through this digital transformation, our ambition went far beyond simply launching a new website. We wanted to establish Le Coopérateur as a modern, accessible, multi-platform agricultural media outlet rooted in the values of cooperation, capable of reflecting the aspirations of our network and strengthening our collective bond.

A Member-Centric Experience 01
The redesign process was rooted in co-creation to deliver smooth and engaging user journeys. A new taxonomy makes it easier to access various content types—articles, podcasts, portraits—and improves thematic search. Interactive features like surveys and embedded forms foster direct member engagement, reinforcing Le Coopérateur’s role as a platform for dialogue and proximity.
A Modern and Cooperative Interface 02
The new interface was entirely reimagined to reflect both the cooperative identity of the publication and its connection to the Sollio Cooperative Group brand. The design direction focused on clean typography, simplified visual hierarchy, and a harmonious colour palette. The layout elevates content while providing users with a consistent, intuitive navigation experience across the site.
A Multi-Platform Media Brand Built for the Future 03
This transformation goes beyond a simple website update. It’s the foundation of a phased digital strategy. The first phase focused on performance (SEO, monetization, user experience), while the second phase introduces member logins and personalized journeys. With this progressive approach, Le Coopérateur is equipped to evolve alongside its audience and assert its role as a key voice in the French-speaking agricultural landscape.
A Platform Optimized for Performance 04
The site now includes advanced analytics tools that track user behavior—reading time, most viewed topics, navigation flows, and more. These insights fuel both editorial and monetization strategies, enabling data-driven decisions based on reliable metrics.

St. Lawrence (formerly Royal Gramma) played a key role in shaping the strategic vision and coordinating the project’s partners. From digital positioning to ecosystem structuring, the agency ensured all technological and development choices remained aligned with the cooperative mission. This ongoing partnership ensured coherence across editorial ambitions, performance goals, and member needs—making the transformation both durable and mission-aligned.

Le Coopérateur is the official magazine of Sollio Cooperative Group. For over 50 years, it has informed, connected, and inspired members of Quebec’s agricultural network through technical, human-centered, and cooperative content shared across multiple platforms.

Sollio Cooperative Group is Canada’s largest agricultural cooperative, deeply rooted in Quebec. Since 1922, its 14,671 employees have been cultivating, raising, producing, processing, and shaping the economy of tomorrow—day in, day out.
